The Emmaus pattern is the Mass pattern: Word (Scriptures opened) then Table (bread broken). Every Mass is the Emmaus road. Preach the connection explicitly - the congregation walks this road every Sunday.

Silver and gold I have not: The Church's gift isn't wealth or power. It's the name of Jesus. Rise and walk. Preach the Church's real treasure.

Stay with us: The disciples beg the stranger to stay. The Eucharist is God staying. He doesn't keep walking. He sits down and breaks bread.
